One big step for Mankind

As I continue to scan all our old album's into the computer, I realize how far technology has come, and yes even how much easier it is to take photo's of your family! As you go back you find that the old photos are either blurry or grainy. Each year the quality gets a little better, but in the "Old Days" you took your film off to be processed and actually had no idea as to how it was going to turn out. Maybe you got lucky and your holiday photo's turned out. That's the other thing I have noticed, photo developing cost quite a bit to young families, so you usually only took photo's on special occasions!

Now we snap photos of everything, anytime, and even let our grand kids take photos! Except for the onetime cost of the camera, there really isn't anything else. Our children probably can't even imagine what photo processing used to cost, but when they ask why we don't have more photo's of each of them, I answer them with that famous saying from our parents day, "Back in my time......."
